River Cottage Wedding | Rachel & Noel
If you’re a regular reader here you may have noticed that nearly all of the weddings I photograph are within an hour of Reading. The few exceptions are when I’ve been won over by a super lovely couple- Rachel and Noel were exactly that! When they asked if I’d photograph their wedding – before booking a venue – I was a definite yes. They are the type of people that you can’t not enjoy being around, their love of friends and especially their family is infectious. So I knew it would be a day of smiles and laughter, I wasn’t wrong!
They decided on a beautiful part of the country, the Dorset/Devon borders at River Cottage. The relaxed, country vibe suited them perfectly. But also the massive foodie element was perfect as Noel is a chef [Side note, if you are looking for an excellent caterer you must check out his business,
thefattabby.co.uk, they also do THE best wood fired pizzas].
Their ceremony was under a sweet pea arch beside a cabbage patch, there were garden games – some serious welly wangling, coffees in a yurt, jars filled with flowers picked from the garden and naturally, incredible food.
