The Montagu Arms Hotel | Mel & Alex’s 

Mel and Alex married in the impressive Beaulieu Abbey, there is so much history linked to the 13th century abbey, it is special to think they have stood at the alter and added their important occasion to the history too.

Once married they hopped in Mel’s dad’s fabulous car as James and I joined their guests, a sunny stroll around the corner to their wedding reception at the hotel. The Montagu Arms, www.montaguarmshotel.co.uk, is the perfect New Forest village setting in Beaulieu.  It is incredibly picturesque with ponies and donkeys that stroll past, a gorgeous english countryside garden, a pretty high street and steps from the waters edge. 

Mel wore a detailed lace dress, it was in two pieces by Pronovias, that she completed with some super glam Louboutin heels. Her flowers, by Marla at the Montagu Arms Hotel, were a pretty pastel mix of creams, lilac and lots of delicate loose foliage.
