When you live in a scorching country like Dubai, there is the obvious appeal of returning home to celebrate a cold Christmas. Which meant a Lillibrooke Manor Christmas wedding was perfect for Alexandra and Phil. They met whilst working a ski season. A beautiful English winter’s day was a factor for their wedding too. Luckily the weather performed; on the 30th December it was a crisp Decembers day.
“We just wanted to say thank you again for being so great; you made us feel so relaxed and the pictures are beautiful.”
Booking a 4pm ceremony with a black tie dress code made the perfect dramatic, festive wedding celebration. It was pitch black when they exited their ceremony, they were able to be guided to the barn by guests waving sparklers! However, the glamour of a twilight celebration did mean there was no time for daylight for pictures. Alexandra and Phil totally embraced this idea of taking their couples pictures prior to the ceremony, having a first look is so incredibly romantic. I love how they had the chance to spend some time together before they met again at the end of the aisle… those shots of their very first look are so special as Alexandra snuck around the back of Lillibrooke Manor where Phil was waiting for her.
