There is oh so much I love about The Elvetham as a wedding venue- the gorgeous grounds, the ornate details inside and out, the fab staff, the vast space… and the fact it attracts brilliant couples. It genuinely seems to appeal to the relaxed and stylish couples- just like Rhys and Helen. They got married at The Elvetham in the autumn, choosing a gorgeous golden lit day.
Helen got ready with her girls upstairs in the Seymour room, a huge space with lots of natural light flooding in. It also meant she got to enjoy the walk down their impressive staircase in front in the stained glass windows, as she headed down to where Rhys was waiting at the end of the aisle. Having a late autumn wedding meant the light dropped early, they timed their ceremony perfectly to be able to enjoy that magical golden light for their reception drinks. Then after dinner they got to play with sparklers… then watch the most incredible fireworks display. So so romantic.
“We love our photos! Thank you so much and a big thank you to James. Watching the slide show made me very emotional. We can’t thank you both enough! Rhys & Helen xxx”
p.s I was so tempted to start this post with the last shot of the night – I resisted for the sake of story telling photos – but make sure you scroll right to the very end for both suppliers and THAT shot!
