Asha and Soumi had a two day celebration for their wedding at the beautiful Caswell House in the Cotswolds, enjoying an extended celebration in a relaxed and private setting(caswellhouse.co.uk)
Asha and Soumi’s wedding was a perfect example of a thoughtful, two-day celebration, focused on family, friends and meaningful moments.

The weekend began with a relaxed arrival for guests and garden games. Their sons ran between friends and family, while guests enjoyed drinks and light refreshments. As a documentary-style wedding photographer, these moments are invaluable for capturing genuine connections without staging.

Asha and Soumi shared “Hannah did a fantastic job as the photographer for our wedding at Caswell House. From our first call with Hannah to the wedding day itself we found Hannah to be impressively organised, professional and attentive, while at the same time friendly, approachable and adaptable. Her long experience of the wedding industry and deep familiarity with our venue was invaluable. We loved all of the planning tips and supplier recommendations that we received in the run-up to the wedding. On the wedding day our two photographers, Hannah and Sarah, were a lovely presence, helping to guide us through the day and put us and all of our guests at ease. Their technical skills are also apparent throughout our beautiful final photo gallery, which was delivered promptly after the wedding.”
The main celebration took place inside the historic Wenmans Barn at Caswell House. The barn’s stonework and exposed beams provided an intimate setting for the ceremony. Asha and Soumi’s two sons sat at the front, witnessing their parents’ vows.

During the reception, the room was transformed with soft, sparkly lighting, complementing the pretty pastel flowers from Joanna Carter Flowers. The cake, made by The Pretty Cake Company, was a classic buttercream design that was as elegant as it was delicious.

Asha wore two dresses during the celebrations. For the ceremony, she chose a strapless white Suzanne Neville gown with delicate lace detailing, while later she changed into a traditional Indian gold-style dress, reflecting the couple’s heritage and adding a rich contrast to the reception.

Caswell House is an excellent choice for couples seeking a private weekend wedding in the Cotswolds. Its combination of historic barns, private gardens and on-site accommodation allows for a flexible schedule, making it possible to spread the celebration over two days. This extended format provides more opportunities to capture natural, relaxed moments that reflect the personality of the couple and their guests. (caswellhouse.co.uk)
