This week’s blog posts are entirely focused on helping you find your dream wedding venue. I’m in a lucky position to have photographed weddings at more than one hundred different places and several times in many cases! So, I’m gathering that knowledge into a series of blog posts and chats in our Facebook group. In the last post I shared our top three venues by the river and today it is all about beautiful rural barns. Barns don’t have to be dark and drafty, the ones we adore couldn’t be further from that- they all have a rustic luxe vibe.

Caswell House, Cotswolds

Cotswolds stone AND a barn in one setting- add in a pond (with a family of ducks that are sure to waddle past you!), a private walled garden, fields and lots of lovely light inside- and it makes a stunning light airy barn option. www.caswellhouse.co.uk

Stanlake Park in Twyford

This isn’t a new venue- but it is relatively new to Heritage Venues who also look run weddings at Lillibrooke Manor. The team not only know how to plan and run an amazing day for you- but they also serve delicious food. If you choose Stanlake Park you can team the meal with wine produced right there! Lillibrooke Manor near Maidenhead

We have photographed a wedding here in every single month of the year! From cosy winter weddings with vows at 4pm and the couple had a sparkler, rather than confetti exit, or spring days with cocktails amongst the blossom, or autumn days with the vast grounds full of different colour leaves and orchards full of fruit to warm summer days with outdoor ceremonies in the walled garden… each has been so special. www.lillibrookemanor.co.uk

Last, but not least- we’re excited to be part of this brand new wedding venue’s recommended team. The owners have such great taste, the spaces inside are split to have plenty of room to relax as well as party side by side, all with super trendy decor.
