Twelve years after meeting at Manchester University, James asked Rachel to marry him. It wasn’t at the fancy restaurant he booked as a surprise, it wasn’t on their Maldives holiday… but instead he managed to completely surprise Rachel by asking the important question on her return from a business trip. The trip that meant the restaurant got cancelled, but did mean she was exhausted after a lengthy drive. Not at all what she was expecting, but exactly what she hoped for.
They planned a ‘rustic luxe’ day. Beautiful luxury styling, in a rustic setting of the Berkshire barn, Lillibrooke Manor. The February rain was pretty determined, a few breaks meant dry group shots. But I LOVED Rachel’s attitude to their couples pictures, she hitched up her stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress and tucked herself under the umbrella.
James’ company specialises in creating incredible events so I was excited to see what he was creating for their wedding day – he didn’t disappoint, check out the lighting below… Have you ever seen a pink Lillibrooke Manor? It looked amazing, especially looking out from the barn as the view through the huge glass doors.
Thank you for your kind words Rachel & James,
“Just been through them with a bottle of bubbles and they are fantastic, I’ve no doubt all your clients say that, but really, they are perfect. So brilliant…. thank you so much, so many moments we never would have seen from having both yourself and James there. Brilliant photos, you really captured the day. Thanks so much.”
