Silchester House Wedding | Niki & Dan

Catching up with Nicola the month before their wedding day, she said “All our family and friends being together to celebrate us becoming husband and wife- and getting to wear a huge white dress and wear amazing shoes and have gorgeous hair and make up for the day!!” was the bit she was looking forward to the most. That certainly happened, she looked amazing! AND all happy faces as they watched  Niki’s aunt marry them – yep you read that right- her auntie is the vicar at church. A definite first for us to photograph a family church ceremony. Once guests arrived at the reception they greeted them with a harpist playing, then lots of thoughtful touches from percy pig favours to flip flops for dancing.

“Just had a massive cry (happy tears) over our photos, they are incredible thank you so much! We had the best day ever and I could not have asked for more from Nicola and Rachel, they were phenomenal. Nicola made me feel so at ease and she did her best to get everything I wanted captured, it was a dream to have such a wonderful photographer!”

Silchester House is a luxury wedding venue, just down the road from us on on the border of Hampshire and Berkshire. A Victorian mansion, that made the perfect romantic setting for Niki and Dan’s spring wedding day.

Niki looked beautiful in her Enzoani wedding dress, perfectly complemented with the bouquets Sonning Flowers made with a mix of Gypsophilia, sweet avalanche roses, lisianthus and freesia.
