It’s true. There are now the two of us at the HMP Headquarters!
Back in November Tianna joined part time to help out with running the business. You may recognise her name from emails that she’s sent you. Tianna’s been sending out galleries, working on album designs, updating databases, beautifully packaging prints and products, working on PR submissions, managing the stock photography social media… Generally just being a star.
She certainly is keeping busy and is an absolute pleasure to have in the office.
Over to Tianna to share a little more >
Tell us a bit about yourself…
As well as being an intern at Hannah McClune Photography I am studying film and television production. I’ve always loved photography- I was the friend moaning at everyone for using up all of the photos we had on the disposable cameras when I was younger! I’m a bubbly, friendly person and love meeting new people; making them feel like they are an old friend.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working or studying?
I really like being sociable with my friends, I’m often always the person whose in a cafe or restaurant for hours chatting away. I’m a big family girl and spend as much time as I can with them, usually baking cakes or making things with my little niece and nephew. I spend a large amount of my time on social media keeping with with celebrities and the stories in the headlines (I am also a media student so I think that is a valid excuse to spend time on my phone, right?). I love having a night in with a nice takeaway, a couple of DVDs and a blanket on the sofa with friends.
What would be your dream job?
I’d love to be a cinematographer (cinematography is the art of capturing images during the creation of motion pictures), especially for weddings. To me there is nothing more special than being able to capture people’s memories for them to look back on in years to come, as cliched and cheesy as it sounds to me it is magical. I’d love to create short movies of someones wedding day- I mean after all the bride does like to feel like a movie star on her big day so why not make it real for her.
What type of photography do you love the most?
Wedding photography 100%! I am a hopeless romantic and capturing two people utterly in love with each other is amazing. The photos that you always see are full of joyous smiles and their just beautiful. I do really love nature/landscape photography as well, Its just so peaceful and some of the places that you see look out of this world.
