Life is precious and having someone as talented as Hannah to capture those moments, I could never be more thankful for…
1st time, things were not smooth, at the 12 week scan we were told our baby had a genetic condition and only had a 1:3 chance of survival, I became life threateningly poorly and knowing the challenges my baby would face, photos of my newborn couldn’t have been further from my mind.
Then when William was 9 months old we met Hannah at a wedding and she captured a photo that we will treasure forever. That photo made me think that if I were ever to have more babies I would want to have special images of them as soon as they arrived.
Hannah was so understanding, I knew Freddie would arrive early and I was very likely to be poorly again. At 35 weeks, I gave Hannah the nod that he would be with us soon, and she worked with us to make sure we had a number of slots in the diary so we could have a family session as soon as possible.
As it happens, Hannah was with us a couple of days after we arrived home after an emergency c section and, on the eve of us being readmitted to hospital as I had post partum eclampsia. I couldn’t have asked for more, it was such a special family time for us and not only was Hannah understanding of how poorly I was, she was a Godsend looking after the boys and making sure we had a special day together at such a traumatic time.
Thank you Hannah!!
There really isn’t any more to add to Claire’s sweet comment. Thank you so much for sharing, I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to meet your beautiful boys x
Please get in touch after your 20 week scan if you’re thinking of pencilling in a newborn session, hello@hannahmcclunephotography.com
