Looking for some inspiration on styling a New Year’s Eve wedding? Enjoy browsing the images below from a Hedsor House shoot featured on youandyourwedding.co.uk with monochrome and gold wedding styling.
The lovely Rachael, wedding planner from Serendipity Weddings , coordinated the shoot as well as designing the sequinned seating plan and styling a confetti bar, where guests could create their own mix of sparkle to shower the newlyweds. Here are some words from her on the different elements of the styling…
“The magnificent Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire was the venue for this New Year’s Eve inspired wedding shoot, which featured a colour palette of monochrome and gold with a hint of mint green.
Our bride Meg O’Duffy wore the beautiful ‘Alana’ gown by Melanie Potro Bridal Couture whilst her groom Henry Morris looked dashing in a tuxedo loaned by Stephen Bishop Suiting. Meg’s elegant up-do and glamorous makeup were the handiwork of artist Liz Patey and her hair was finished with a playful gold bow from Polly McGeary.
Melissa Woodland Cakes designed a 4 tier monochrome and gold cake which was finished with the happy couple’s monogram and delicate sugarpaste tulips. Laura of The Sweet Stylist created a beautiful sweet table featuring elegant glass jars and striped monochrome & gold paperie, as well as setting up a fabulous milk and cookie station, the perfect late night snack for peckish wedding guests.
Together Melissa & Laura also styled a dessert table featuring chocolate brownies and mint marshmallows alongside the beautiful cake and a selection of sweets.
Florist Tarnia Williams – Flowers for Weddings used a mixture of ivory roses and ornithogalum in the hand tied bridal bouquet. The co-ordinating mis-matched buttonholes and elegant centrepieces also used freesia, parrot tulips and gypsophila. Tarnia also created a unique and stunning floral chandelier featuring more of the parrot tulips and gypsophila. Lots of monochrome ribbon was used throughout to add impact to the designs.
E.Y.I Love designed the stunning black and gold foiled stationery that featured throughout the shoot , Pocketful of Pennies provided the gold and mint letters and the images were captured by the award winning Hannah McClune Photography assisted by Alice Hudson.”
